NOTICE THE TIME CHANGE AND LOCATION!
Due to the temporary closure of the UCSB Multicultural Center—in the aftermath of students exercising their conscience by protesting the unconscionable violence in Palestine— Las Maestras Center has been forced to change the venue for this event. It will now take place at Santa Barbara City College.
We are not abandoning the UCSB campus, but instead broadening the scope of access to this event. In so doing, we hope to secure a respectful and safe way to present this Chicana writer of singular importance to our multiple communities. All invited. No tickets required.
