Part lecture, part writing workshop, Virginia Grise will discuss the evolution of her work from panzas to prisons, from street theatre to large-scale multimedia performances, from princess to chafa. The talk/workshop will include excerpts of her work and artistic practices for creating ecologies of care in the face of state violence, how we dream when our communities are under attack, how we create spaces for movement, joy and celebration amidst all of it - to study, think, work, collaborate, imagine and create together! Limited space available.
